CDR Arnold (Arnie) K. Fieser, USN (Ret.)

LTJG Fieser became a Naval Aviator at HTG-1, NAS Ellyson Field, Pensacola, FL on July 19, 1958. LTJG Fieser was Navy Helicopter Pilot Designation Number R-4195.

Arnie Fieser passed away March 26, 2024 in San Diego, CA.  He served a great Navy career, July 1955 to July 1977, as Commanding Officer of HC-1 and was the highly successful Helicopter pick-up aviator for returning Astronauts.

Arnie was 91 years old and recently retired from his second career as owner of a successful Security/locksmith Business Company.

Arnie’s wife, Suzanne, and two daughters passed in years past, and he is survived by his Son, Burt Fieser.  Memorial/Funeral services will be held on April 18^th, 1100 to 1200 at, Bonita Presbyterian Church, 5111 Central Ave, Bonita Ca.   A Burial service with Military Honors will follow at 1330, Glenn Abbey Cemetery, 3838 Bonita Rd. Bonita CA, 91902.  Final Viewing is open at Glenn Abbey on April 17, 3 to 6 PM.
